Trudeau announces update on more protective equipment

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced today that more protective equipment is on the way. Throughout the pandemic Canada’s attempts to obtain essential supplies have been a struggle. As Canadian health official are bracing for a potential second wave and they want to be ready. 

The federal government announced they have signed a contract with General Motors to produce 10 million face masks. Plus a new contract has been signed that will see an additional 10,000 ventilators ready this summer.
