Aunt Jemima syrup and pancake mix are getting a new name and image. Quaker Oats announced yesterday that it recognizes the origins of the 131-year-old Aunt Jemima brand were based on a racial stereotype.  And since that, at least three more food companies have announced branding changes - Uncle Ben’s Rice, Mrs. Butterworth’s pancake syrup, Cream of Wheat will all be getting updates.
