Some encouraging news – The West Island’s Lakeshore General Hospital reported zero cases of COVID-19 again yesterday. They haven’t recorded a confirmed case for about 10 days now.

At one point the hospital was hit with multiple outbreaks and the number confirmed cases climbed above 70. They have since reconfigured parts of the building, implemented measures to contain the spread of the virus, and are now preparing for that potential second wave in the fall.
