Air Transat relaxes the rules relating to its travel credits

As Air Transat resumes international flights, the Montreal tour operator and carrier is now offering non-expiry, transferable credits to get customers back to its aircraft.

Customers will be able to change their travel date without charge, but Transat's new proposal does not provide any reimbursement. They are changing their policy from today to make credits not only without an expiration date, but also transferable from person to person.

The recovery is well received within the airline after three months of inactivity. Transat will initially orient its offer towards Europe and countries with a significant diaspora in Quebec and Canada such as France, Italy and Greece, but also Haiti.

While it is true that it is now possible to travel to some European countries without having to undergo quarantine, isolation is required upon return home.
