Mayor Valerie Plante is in precautionary isolation after the mayor of Longueuil, Sylvie Parent, tested positive for COVID-19. 

Laval Mayor, Marc Demeres and three CAQ ministers are also in isolation after they were all in  contact with the mayor of Longueil before she tested positive

Both Plante and the mayor of Laval plan to continue working remotely until the 10-day precautionary isolation is over.
