It turns out a dog’s heart rate actually goes up when we tell them we love them AND there are at least 5 ways your pup is telling you they love you too!

The new study found when you say "I love you" your dog’s heart rate jumps a good 46%, they also found cuddling will calm them and bring their heart rate down by about 23%!

There are also 5 main ways dogs show their affection including curling up next to you, bring you a toy, showing their belly, or sleeping on their back, if they’re in pain they go to hold a paw up or put their head in their lap of someone they trust and when greeting humans they’ll wiggle back to the people they love.
