Beyonce's activewear line IVY PARK is collaborating with Adidas to relaunch their classic Superstar sneakers.
The Lemonade hitmaker released her first collection with the sportswear giant back in January, and the 39-year-old has now turned her hand to redesigning the brand's shell toe shoe to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Superstar.
"@Beyonce lends her perspective to the iconic silhouette for the 50th Anniversary of the #adidasSUPERSTAR," a post on the official Twitter page for Adidas reads, alongside three images of the sneaker, called Platform.
While the sneaker's signature three stripes remain, Beyonce has updated the Superstar with a pointed toe, which wraps around the original shell sole and gives the shoe an elevated midsole.
The IVY PARK x adidas Originals Superstar Platform is being released in the classic Cloud White/Core Black/Off White colourway, and is being released on 18 September priced at $220 (£169.95), and will be available exclusively via the Adidas app.
The Black is King superstar originally launched her IVY PARK athleisure company back in 2016 with Topshop tycoon Philip Green, but after gaining full ownership of the brand in April 2018, Beyonce revealed she was partnering with Adidas bosses to release the new and improved line earlier this year.
The gender-neutral line features activewear such as jumpsuits, cycling shorts, hoodies, and sports bras, quickly sold out just days after it was released.
