The countdown is officially on for Montreal’s 2024 Pride Festival and we could not be more excited!
The upcoming 18th edition of the festival, scheduled from August 1 to 11, will be the largest one yet, structured around three distinct hubs: Urban, Olympic, and Village.
In various locations across the city, a variety of events will highlight 240 artists who represent the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. These events will include performances, art exhibitions, drag shows, and more!
Here are some events to keep an eye out for during the festival:
Pride Parade
When? Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 1pm to 5pm
Where? Corner of René-Lévesque Blvd. and Metcalfe St.
The Pride Parade invites you and numerous other participants to joyously celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities! Everyone is encouraged to partake in the festivities, which will end for the first time at the heart of the Village at the corner of René-Lévesque Blvd. and Atataken St.
Community Days
When? Friday and Saturday August 9 and 10, 2024
Where? In the heart of the Village, on rue Sainte-Catherine East.
For a full two days, explore Sainte-Catherine East to uncover various organizations, community groups, businesses, sports clubs, and socio-cultural clubs dedicated to supporting the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. Don't forget to visit The Beat 92.5's tent on Friday, August 9th, where Donna Saker will be broadcasting live from 12pm to 5pm!
Drag Superstar
When? Friday, August 9, 2024 from 9pm to 11pm.
Where? Esplanade du Parc olympique - Scène TD
The Drag Superstar event is back for another exciting year, featuring Rita Baga and multiple champions from various RuPaul’s Drag Race editions like Sasha Colby, Naomi Smalls, Sisi Superstar, and many others! It's guaranteed to be the ultimate drag celebration of the year!

August 1st to 10th: Variety of daily readings as well as a book fair with “Fierté Littéraire” @8pm
August 2nd: Bloc Bollywood where you can celebrate the South Asian queer community in Québec @8pm
August 3rd: Celebrate the Trans community with “Transcendence” @5pm
August 4th: Join Feminix for a fun evening of dance celebrating women of diverse sexualities and genders @5pm
August 8th: Take part of Immix which celebrates and highlights different musical styles bringing together allies and artists from the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities @8:30pm
