British royal Princess Eugenie is expecting her first child.
The 30-year-old royal shared the happy news with friends and family earlier this month, two years after marrying Jack Brooksbank, and it was confirmed in an announcement on social media on Friday.
"Jack and I are so excited for early 2021..." she shared on Instagram, alongside a snap of a pair of baby boots to accompany the news. The baby is expected to arrive in February, reported Britain's The Sun newspaper.
In an official announcement on The Royal Family's Twitter page, they added: "Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021.
"The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news."
Eugenie and Jack met in Swiss skiing resort Verbier in 2010 and Jack proposed two years ago while the couple were on holiday in Nicaragua.
