Mobilité Montreal is reporting several major road closures that will be put in place over the weekend. Motorists should watch out for road work around the interchange of highways 13 and 40; on highway 20 westbound (between the Turcot and Saint-Pierre interchanges); on Autoroute 15 (Décarie) northbound, and finally, on the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge in Brossard.

Highway 13 and Highway 40 Interchange

Friday 11 p.m. – 5 a.m. on Monday:

Expect both sections of Highway 13, north and south to be closed completely between Exit 6, on either side, to access Highway 40 as well as the following exit.

The detour for the southbound section will include the exit toward Hymus/Alfred Nobel Blvds.
This includes the service road.

The detour for the northbound section will include the Cavendish Blvd. exit in the St-Laurent borough.

Saturday, 4 a.m. and 11 p.m.

The southbound section of Highway 13 will be closed where it connects with Highway 520 west as well as the overpass that connects Highway 40 east to Highway 13 south.

Motorists should also watch out for the overpass that connects Highway 40 west to Highway 13 south (toward Lachine and Dorval), which will be closed between 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Monday at 5 a.m.

A section of Highway 40 (where the interchange connects it with Highway 13) will be closed between midnight Friday and 7 a.m. on Saturday.

Highway 20 will be completely closed between the Turcot and St-Pierre Interchanges between 10 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday. By default, the connection between Highway 15 south and Highway 20 west (heading toward Lachine, the Mercier Bridge and Dorval) will be closed.

The connection between Highway 15 north and Highway 20 west will also be closed as well as the connections between Highway 720 and Highway 15 north and to Highway 20 west.

Route 136/ Highway 720 (Ville-Marie Expressway)

Highway 720 will be closed between the Turcot Interchange and the entrances to Notre Dame and de la Cathédrale Sts.

Expect this to be completely closed between 10 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday.

Highway 10/Bonaventure Expressway

The eastbound section of Bonaventure Expressway (toward Samuel-De Champlain Bridge) between Wellington and l’Île des Soeurs Sts. will be closed between 10 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday.

Décarie Expressway

The northbound section of the Décarie Expressway (Highway 15) will be closed between the Jean-Talon St. exit and the interchange heading towards Highway 40, Marcel-Laurin Blvd. and Décarie Blvd.

Expect this area to be closed from 11:59 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday— and again, between 11:59 p.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Sunday.

Brossard

Route 132 on the South Shore will be closed completely between the exits next to either side of the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge between 11 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday.
