Starting April 1st, 2021 expect to pay more on your electricity bill. Hydro Quebec announced electricity rates will increase by 1.3 percent, Hydro-Québec says is “equal to the change in the Quebec Consumer Price Index” over the past year.
Hydro Quebec will also continue to “provide relief measures” and they’re extending the moratorium on service interruptions until March 31st so no customers will have their power cut off.
