Jason Momoa loves wearing pink, and doesn't care what people think about it.

The 41-year-old actor is well known for his affection for the colour, and famously wore a velvet blush pink Karl Lagerfeld tuxedo to last year's Oscars, complete with matching hair scrunchie on his wrist.

And Jason manages to ignore the criticism he gets about his penchant for pink, and shrugs off being the butt of jokes online.

“Pink is just a beautiful colour,” the Game of Thrones star told InStyle. “And I’m pretty secure in my masculinity. I don’t really give a s**t what anyone thinks.”

For the magazine's cover shoot, Momoa rocks several pink outfits from designers, including a blush Tom Ford sweatshirt and trousers, a rose-coloured Marrakshi Life tunic, and a pink and purple Dolce & Gabbana suit.

The Aquaman star, whose married to Lisa Bonet, continued to say he had been bullied for his style choices when he was in high school, when he became interested in art and skateboarding.

“I got beat up a lot. Just for being slightly different – it was gnarly. I mean, I wore Birkenstocks in middle school, and it was like, ‘You are a freak!’” he remembered.

Momoa also opened up on his decision to go to therapy, where he said he's working on exploring issues of male vulnerability, and learning how to switch off at home after working on a fight scene all day.

"For me to relax and sit still is next to impossible," he explained. “I mean, I’m a warrior, and I will lay it down. But I’m also the first one to say, ‘I have a lot of problems, and I want to be able to correct those problems.’"
