Olivier Rousteing is enjoying a shining start to his week after Jennifer Lopez chose to wear a full Balmain look for Sunday night's American Music Awards.

The 51-year-old stunned in a sparkling silver custom-look from Rousteing's French fashion house, which was inspired by the label's spring/summer 21 collection.

She added a one-of-a-kind 1945 monogram clutch to complete the look.

"JLO IN BALMAIN," Rousteing posted on Instagram alongside a picture of Jennifer. "@amas. The best way to wake up on a Monday morning and see one of the most beautiful and talented woman of the world wearing your creations. Thank you @jlo."

During the ceremony, Jennifer slipped into a sheer LaQuan Smith bodystocking for her performance of Pa' Ti + Lonely with collaborator Maluma.

Bebe Rexha rocked a similar outfit, this time by Julien Macdonald. Her silver dress featured a thigh-high split, as well as a full chest slash. The singer showed off vibrant red hair and finished off her outfit with stacked silver jewellery on both wrists.

Cara Delevingne also opted to shine in silver at the music ceremony, hosted by Taraji P. Henson at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The model and actress went for a metallic Dolce & Gabbana suit, worn over sheer lingerie.

And Paris Hilton got the silver memo too, turning up in a sequined Valdrin Sahiti mini dress.
