Matthew Perry has a released a limited-edition collection of Friends-inspired clothing to raise money for Covid-19 relief efforts.
The Friends actor announced the fundraising collection over the weekend by sharing a picture of him modelling a white T-shirt which features a cartoon version of his character Chandler Bing making dance moves across three separate images plus the phrase "Could this BE any more of a t-shirt?", a reference to Chandler's classic sarcastic retort.
Besides the picture, which also showed him using a banana as a telephone, Perry wrote in the Instagram caption, "What is this, a limited edition t-shirt for charity? For two weeks only, I'm releasing an apparel collection! Proceeds will support the World Health Organization's COVID 19 relief efforts. Link in bio. Banana not included."
Perry also publicly shared photos of his fiancee Molly Hurwitz for the first time. Hurwitz, who got engaged to Perry in November, helped promote the line by wearing a black T-shirt that bears the same slogan, but without the cartoon dancing images, as well as black baseball cap which features the words, "What is this, a baseball cap?"
On the collection's website, besides each product, is the message: "Could this BE any more amazing? Yeah, we didn't think so! Grab the entire collection, hunker down with some coffee, and let the binge-watch begin! A portion of proceeds from every product sold supports the COVID19 relief efforts of the World Health Organization."
The cartoon T-shirt Perry modelled also comes in ice blue, navy, and black shades, while the one modelled by Hurwitz also comes in white, as does the baseball cap. The collection also features hooded sweatshirts in black, white, and navy, and mugs featuring the message, "Could this BE any more of a mug?" It comes in black or white and with or without the dancing Chandler cartoons.
