Although Santa says he prefers snow-covered roofs when visiting homes around the world, recent Christmases in Montreal have left the jolly old globetrotter with tough landings since more often than not, it hasn’t snowed on Christmas Day.
This year, however, forecasters say, there’s a chance of snow in the days leading up to Dec. 25, increasing the likelihood that Santa won’t have as much trouble sliding onto roofs when delivering gifts to millions of children this holiday season!
That’s right folks, Montreal might be getting a white Christmas!
Below-freezing temperatures are expected with chances of flurries starting the night of December 23 up until Christmas day, when a light snowfall is expected.
There you have it. Right now, it looks like we might get some snow, although not much.
Historically, 77% of Montreal Christmases have been snow-filled.
