If you have a garden in your library, everything will be complete.

We’re all hoping that 2022 will be a whole lot better than 2021, but there’s still a lot of anxiety out there, and managing your mental health can be a difficult balancing act. That’s why some scientists recommend surrounding yourself with plants.

Several studies have shown that an indoor garden can help beat the blues and boost your mental and physical well-being. Not only do indoor plants purify the air, but they can lower human stress levels and reduce blood pressure. And when people work near plants, they report greater concentration, satisfaction, and an increase in productivity. What’s more, many houseplants are easy to care for and have an array of household uses that help you save money.

Studies have also found that taking care of houseplants, especially a large quantity of them, can help release endorphins since the simple act of caring and nurturing can make you feel happier and more energized.

With that out of the way, we should mention that today (January, 10), is National Houseplant Appreciation Day, so if you have the post-holiday blues, this is the perfect chance for you to brighten up your house with a lovely plant that you can enjoy all year long.

Houseplants do more than just bring a splash of green into our homes, and National Houseplant Appreciation Day is all about raising awareness of the numerous benefits of tending an indoor plant.

So, there you have it, if you want to reduce stress and feel better, why not surround yourself with some plants.
