Rita Ora has helped create 20 new designs for her upcoming spring collection for ShoeDazzle.
The Hot Right Now singer joined forces with ShoeDazzle, a California-based online subscription service, in October to create a fall collection and they're now following that up with two spring drops.
Thirteen styles in 25 colourways are due to be released on 1 March while another seven styles in 14 colourways will drop on 1 April. The collections feature heels, flats, and boots, as well as chain details and embellishments.
Rita told WWD that she and the ShoeDazzle team used sales data from her previous collection to help guide their spring offering, which represents "unapologetic femininity and strength".
"This collection has got something for everyone - heels, flats, boots. But I was very meticulous. We had months and months of creative meetings," she continued. "The tech and design teams were very open to creative direction. That's really important to me... I love experimenting. I love vintage looks and finding little gems that we could incorporate into the pieces. It's definitely been an amazing experience."
Although she is a style chameleon and is always switching up her looks and rocking bold and experimental designs, the 30-year-old shared that she prefers sneakers when she's off-duty.
"Women love to feel comfortable and sexy at the same time. For me, I love wearing trainers - you guys call them sneakers. I am a bit of a tomboy. But having a pair of sneakers and a sexy heel in your bag is a double whammy," she explained.
When asked if her footwear deal has encouraged her to start a clothing line, she teased, "I'd love to but can't right now. We have a lot of things going on."
