Kendall Jenner has shared her body image struggles after her SKIMS photoshoot was heavily criticised.
The 25-year-old supermodel took part in the shoot, alongside sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, for the shapewear brand's Fits Everybody Valentine’s Day collection.
The trio shared a series of images and videos on social media, showing fans and followers behind-the-scenes on the set of the photoshoot, with Kendall posting one snap of her wearing lingerie and posing in front of a mirror.
“V-Day is coming,” she wrote alongside the photo, in which she wore a SKIMS’s Straight Neck Underwire Bra and Micro Thong in the Poppy colourway, paired with a pair of Yeezy’s Season 5 PVC Pumps, while posing in front of a pink curtain.
Fans were taken aback by her enviably slim figure, with older sister Khloe Kardashian asking in the comments: "How are you a living human?”
However, the snap irked many on social media, who accused Kendall of promoting an unhealthy body image, prompting the model to explain that even she has off days too.
"i am an extremely lucky girl. appreciative of all that i have. but i want you to know i have bad days too and that i hear you! you are beautiful just the way you are!!! it's not always as perfect as it may seem," she wrote on Twitter.
Kim also shared snaps and clips from the shoot, and in a video on her Instagram Stories, the 40-year-old joked that she regretted asking her supermodel younger sister to take part in the campaign alongside her and Kylie.
The limited-edition capsule collection is available on the SKIMS website now, in sizes XXS to 4X.
