Over the past couple of months, the views of Canadians on the COVID-19 pandemic have gone through some drastic shifts. Last year, most Canadians said they believed the government had done a good job in responding to the virus but over the past few months the consensus has somewhat changed. And even though most Canadians believe that the worst is now behind us, it hasn’t stopped them from venting their anger and frustration towards various politicians. But which politicians are Canadians most unhappy with?
A recent survey asked 1,233 Canadians, 18 years of age or older, their opinions how each province has handled the pandemic, and perhaps without surprise, most Canadians across the country agree that Quebec has done the worst job managing the COVID-19 crisis. In fact, one-third of Canadians named Quebec as the worst when managing the pandemic, while nearly one-quarter (24%) named Ontario.
This survey, by Narrative Research, asked the following questions:
Which province or territory in Canada do you think has done the best job at managing the COVID-19 pandemic?
