Sophie Turner is excited about "embracing fashion" again after becoming a mum.
The Game of Thrones star and husband Joe Jonas welcomed their first child, daughter Willa, in July last year, and since then Sophie has been struggling to find her fashion identity, with first-time motherhood coinciding with the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 25-year-old told Vogue U.S. that she's spent much of the global health crisis holed up at home in "sweats and baggy clothes," but now she's trying out different looks.
"I'm excited about embracing fashion again; I've been dressing up for myself. It's actually really annoying though, because just as I've had a baby, everyone all of a sudden wants to wear low-rise jeans. It's kind of offensive!" she laughed.
"Because I'm a mom, I'm desperate to be cool now. So I'm trying to go with baggy tops and baggy jeans. I'm definitely excited to be putting my heels on, and doing my hair and make-up."
The Dark Phoenix star also revealed she and husband Joe regularly swap pieces from their wardrobes, especially their collection of vintage T-shirts, and she confessed she's always been jealous of the singer's impeccable style.
"(Joe) surprisingly puts in a little bit more effort than me. He's always embraced high fashion and dressing up. I thought it was psychotic how he would wear jeans during the pandemic, while we were just sitting at home. I was like, 'What kind of serial killer does that?'" Sophie quipped.
"The hardest thing in my life is organising the washing, because I have no idea whose is whose. We buy and wear the exact same things."
