Will Smith is set to get into the "best shape" of his life as part of a new YouTube series.
The Hollywood superstar took to Instagram on Monday to upload a rather unflattering shirtless snap, which he captioned: "I'm gonna be real wit yall - I'm in the worst shape of my life (sic)."
Will's candid post quickly racked up over six million likes and thousands of comments, and just a day later, he has announced that he will be embarking on a dedicated fitness regime and plans to document all of the details for his fans to tune into on the video-sharing platform.
"This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing thru the pantry. I love this body, but I wanna FEEL better (sic)," the actor captioned a snap of himself just wearing a pair of black underwear. "No more midnight muffins...this is it! Imma get in the BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!!!!! Teaming up with @YouTube to get my health & wellness back on track. Hope it works!"
A number of Will's celebrity pals commented on his latest post, including John Boyega and Joel Kinnaman. However, music star Diplo wasn't so convinced.
"This is staged... Your gonna have abs in like 3 days (sic)," he jokingly wrote.
The six-part docuseries will be produced by the team at YouTube Originals and Will's production company, Westbrook Media.
"This is the fun, funny, inspirational, wildly adventurous, and deeply entertaining story of Smith challenging himself to improve every aspect of his fitness, from agility to power to recovery and more, teaming up with guests including pro athletes, scientists and experts, and top YouTube creators," the official show description reads.
