Yesterday, Quebec health and education ministers announced that youth ages 12 to 17 are eligible to book their vaccine appointments in the province starting next week.

Students will have different options to choose from when getting their vaccine: book appointments, join families in drive-thru vaccination centres, or they can receive their vaccines with other students at school.

Those that are under 14 years old will require parental or guardian permission, whereas those older can book their appointments directly on the ClicSante website starting Tuesday, May 25th.

From June 7th to June 14th, students getting vaccinated with school will be transported directly to vaccination centres coordinated by regional health networks.

The province is expecting students to have both their first and second shots before the start of the fall semester this year.
