Channing Tatum has candidly shared his "exhausting" struggle to stay in shape.

The Magic Mike star is well-known for his impressive physique and rippling abs, but in a recent Instagram post, the 41-year-old confessed it's hard work maintaining his enviable figure.

Sharing a video of him striding out of the ocean, Channing revealed he's taken up open water swimming, but joked he has immediately regretted his decision.

"I have done all kinds of bulls**t to get in or stay in shape. Almost everything you can think of. And i have to say nothing yet has been more suffocating and exhausting and effective than freestyle wrestling or open ocean water swimming," he captioned the clip.

"There are moments in both that i am always like i think I might die haha. Yup pretty sure i can’t go on let go would be better than this. Haha... and I’m not even i professional athlete. I can’t imagine the depths in which they push themselves. Unreal," the father-of-one shared.

His famous friends, including former co-star Jonah Hill, and Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt, liked the post, which has been viewed more than two million times.

The 21 Jump Street star said he has a "different motivation" when getting in shape for a movie role, and Channing is currently gearing up to start filming The Lost City of D opposite Sandra Bullock.

"Either way get after it everyone. It’s good to be alive. There are so many people that can’t say that. I’m so blessed," he added.
