Get ready for the first heatwave of the season here in Montreal.
You might want to get your air conditioners ready because it’s going to get really hot in southern Quebec this weekend— so hot, that Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued heat warnings across much of the region.
According to The Weather Network’s seven-day forecast, Montreal should get five consecutive days of “feels like” temperatures over 30ºC, starting Friday.
Sunday, daytime highs in Montreal will climb into the low 30s, and humidex values will be anywhere from 35 to 40 degrees Celsius.
Along with being really hot, the weekend is also forecasting five and eight hours of sunlight, respectively.
