A father from Louisiana is making people cry (happy tears) after sharing his daily lunch notes for his daughter Addy, to help ease her anxiety at school.

According to Good Morning America, Chris Yandle started this routine back in 2017 when he and his wife noticed their daughter Addy showing severe signs of anxiety and stress when going to school. What started out as a few days, quickly turned into years of Yandle leaving words of encouragement in his daughter’s lunch box.

Chris started an Instagram account where he shares his daily notes with his followers. It is safe to say that we can feel the love and support in his words in just the short amount of time we’ve been following his account.

"I realized about a month or two in, I was writing them for her just as much as I was writing them for me. Because I needed that reminder of 'Hey, you can get through the day.' A lot of these things parallel our lives."
