Piknic Electronik has returned to Montreal this summer and this time things are looking a little more different…

In an effort to increase the vaccination rate amongst Quebec youth, the Montreal South Central health and social services centre (CIUSSS) has set up a “vaccino-mobile” at the Piknic Electronik location to encourage young people to get vaccinated.

Set up in front of the Aquatic Complex, visitors can receive either their first or second COVID-19 dose without an appointment. Those that wish to attend Piknic Electronik without getting a vaccination are still permitted to do so, according to event organizers. However, getting vaccinated will make entering the venue easier in the coming weeks.

To answer the most common question: yes, you can still party and drink after you’ve received your dose, however drinking water is highly recommended.
