Jada Pinkett Smith has taken to social media to debut a new buzz cut.
On Monday, the actress uploaded a short video clip to Instagram in which she showed off her shaved head.
Jada also posted a selfie of herself and Willow Smith, and in the accompanying caption, credited her youngest child with inspiring her to try out the look.
"Willow made me do it because it was time to let go BUT ... my 50s are bout to be Divinely lit with this shed (sic)," she wrote.
Willow uploaded the snap to her Instagram account too, and commented: "A gift is pure when it is given from the heart to the right person at the right time and at the right place, and when we expect nothing in return."
Jada, who turns 50 in September, didn't share any further details.
However, her bold hairstyle quickly caught the attention of her celebrity friends.
"Beautiful. It just shows that beautiful face and soulful eyes more prominently," insisted Tina Lawson, while Lena Waithe declared, "Perfection."
Elsewhere, Gabrielle Union posted a string of heart and fire emojis, and musician Jahnavi Harrison added, "Absolutely stunning. I've been thinking about doing this for so many years... might have to jump on it too!"
