Are you willing to spend more money shopping online than shopping at a store? If so, you are not alone.
We all know shopping online offers plenty of benefits and is far more convenient than having to travel to a store, but that isn’t why most of us prefer it.
The truth is most of us are willing to pay extra for certain products online to avoid the embarrassment of buying in a store.
A new study conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Depend, polled thousands of Americans and found 89% spend more money buying items online with just over half (51%) admitting they rather buy personal hygiene products using the internet out of fear of being judged. Meanwhile, 67% admit that they’re also judgmental of other shoppers.
Here are the 10 items people are most embarrassed to buy in person:
1. Condoms – 29%
2. Emergency contraceptives – 26%
3. Bed bug spray – 26%
4. Head lice treatment – 25%
