Is Carrie still married to Mr. Big? What happened to Samantha Jones? But while followers of the show will have to wait until it premieres on HBO Max in late 2021 to get answers, they can at least get their style fix with behind-the-scenes looks at the stars' outfits.
Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker)
While Patricia Field isn't returning as costume designer on the new series, her protegee Molly Rogers has taken over the styling of the main characters' wardrobes. And it appears she has nailed Carrie's eclectic eye for style. Sarah was recently spotted shooting a scene on a New York City street wearing a fuchsia Carolina Herrera shirtdress and a studded Streets Ahead belt, with the look accessorised with a pair of vintage Manolo Blahnik black leather stilettos and a dark green Judith Leiber purse. And it seems Molly is keen for the characters to re-wear key items, as Sarah has also stepped out in the blue satin Manolo Blahnik Hangisi pumps from the 2008 movie, and familiar accessories, such as flower brooches attached to the lapels on her blazers.
Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon)
Though Miranda's life and career updates remain a mystery, there's no question she's still a fashionista. The newly silver-haired Cynthia has been photographed sporting a plaid l'Agence dress with Maje sandals. She's also worn white Vince trousers and a gingham top, and wowed in a burgundy jumpsuit from Likely NYC during a night scene.
Charlotte York (Kristin Davis)
Fans will be pleased to see Charlotte has retained her preppy yet elegant wardrobe. So far, Kristin has sported a nautical-themed white dress from Emilia Wickstead for a café shoot, as well as a vintage Givenchy top with ruffles for a night out look. She's also worn a Carolina Herrera shirt and black pencil skirt, and carried a Lady Dior handbag, for a promotional photoshoot.
