Move aside BTS, it’s Saweetie’s turn to collaborate with everyone’s favorite golden arches!
Earlier this week, McDonald’s announced that rapper Saweetie will be collaborating with the fast food company in a new campaign that will include her very own “Saweetie Meal”... Complete with “icy packaging” - to keep up with the iconic Saweetie brand, of course.
According to USA Today, “The fast-food chain announced Thursday that the “Saweetie Meal” will arrive at participating restaurants nationwide starting Aug. 9. It includes a Big Mac, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, medium Sprite, Tangy BBQ Sauce and “Saweetie ‘N Sour” sauce. McDonald’s said it renamed its Sweet ‘N Sour sauce for the new meal.”
From Travis Scott, J Balvin, to BTS, Saweetie is just one of the many other artists that will be partnering with McDonald’s for future campaigns. In a recent statement made with McDonald’s CEO, Chris Kempczinski, we can expect many more collaborations to come in the very near future.
The meal will be available in select restaurants, McDonald’s app, drive-thrus, and more.
