It is so easy to feel overwhelmed and anxious when our home environment is not in order. This is why taking time throughout the day to clean up and organize our space is essential.
According to Huffpost, Gina Delucca, a clinical psychologist at Wellspace SF in California, says that, “Our environment can affect our mood for better or for worse, and different people may respond differently to certain environments — for example, some people may feel annoyed by the crowds of people at a musical festival [...] Your home environment is no different.”
Easier said than done, right? Especially if you are living with more than one person or have kids to clean up after… The cleaning process might even be the more stressful part.
