A New York TikToker shares major no-no’s when staying at a hotel… And her reasoning might frighten you.
Angela Riihiluoma, a former hotel employee, decided to share her knowledge of hotels with her TikTok community on what not to do while at your stay. With her first video having gone viral with a total of 6.4 million views, Riihiluoma has started a series of videos sharing various hotel room facts.
According to Angela, here are the top things to avoid:
Never use the coffee machine in the hotel. It is a known fact that guests enjoy doing their… well, business… in the coffee machine, instead of using the bathroom. Yup, gross.
Never use the glasses that hotels place in the washroom. Housekeeping often has limited time to turn a room around and washing glasses the right way just won’t cut it. So, washing them with Windex is usually what they resort to.
Always wear socks or slippers in the hotel room. The floors? Yeah, they never wash them.
