From coast to coast, there are so many great places to visit across Canada but very rarely do people talk about the small towns.
Thankfully, Travel+Leisure has released a new list that details the 12 best small towns to visit in Canada, in hopes of highlighting those less populated places that deserve just as much praise as say Montreal or Vancouver.
The travel publication based its picks on charm, adventure, and hospitality.
Based on these qualifications it should come as no surprise that a place like Baie-Saint-Paul and Victoria-by-the-Sea made the cut.
Here are the twelve Canadian small towns they recommend exploring most.
Golden, British Columbia
Baie-Saint-Paul, Quebec
Churchill, Manitoba
Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia
Tofino, British Columbia
Elora, Ontario
Victoria-by-the-Sea, Prince Edward Island
Banff, Alberta
Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario
St. Andrews by-the-Sea, New Brunswick
Dawson, Yukon
Trinity, Newfoundland
