Each year, some of the world's most stylish people are celebrated at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards.

It was no different at the 2021 event held on Wednesday evening, with guests pulling out all of the stops for the star-studded bash. Read on for a round-up of celebrities who didn't hold back when it came to making sartorial statements.

The Euphoria actress, who made history by becoming the youngest-ever winner of the Fashion Icon Award on the night, proved her style chops by arriving in a crimson two-piece set, comprised of a bandeau top and column skirt, from Vera Wang. She accessorised with Bulgari jewellery. Stunning!

Level Up hitmaker Ciara channelled '90s chic for the fashion industry's big night. The singer opted for a vintage black Tom Ford dress with sheer panels and added some sparkle via David Yurman jewels. She completed the look with a tousled updo and smokey eye make-up.

Anya Taylor-Joy

The Queen's Gambit star stepped out in a stunning violet bustier cocktail dress and matching peplum jacket from Oscar de la Renta to the event, where she was presented with the first-ever Face of the Year prize by Cara Delevingne. To complete the eye-catching ensemble, Anya accessorised with a leopard print hat from Gigi Burris and matching gloves by Wing & Weft, as well as Stuart Weitzman stilettos. Très belle!

Emily Blunt

British beauty Emily turned heads in a tangerine suit from Christopher John Rodgers. The actress finished the ensemble with Bulgari jewellery and shoes from Titi Adesa.
