Looking for a fun winter activity to enjoy with your loved ones while the weather is still cold?

The Ice Fishing Centre at the Old Port is just the place for you! Even though spring is just around the corner, families can get in on the winter fun by trying out winter fishing right in the heart of Montreal.

With 10 feet of solid ice beneath your feet,  you can catch anything from a pike, perch or walleye. Catch and release or not, you’re guaranteed to have a wonderful time spent with the family. The whole experience includes hole drilling and fishing lines. Bait is not included, but can be purchased on location.

According to their website, prices are as follows:

  • 2 person shelter: $30 per block of 5 hours
  • 3 person shelter: $45 per block of 5 hours
  • 4 to 6 person shelter: $60 per block of 5 hours
  • Fishing activity without the shelter: $11.50 par person (taxes included).
  • Free for children 6 years and under.

Located right at the Bassin de l'Horloge in the Old Port (near the Yacht Club Montreal), the Ice Fishing Centre is open until the end of March.
