Earlier this month, Premier Francois Legault announced the deconfinement plan for the province of Quebec and the various measures that they will be lifting over the course of the next few weeks.
While many dates have been mentioned and several calendars have been shared, here is a quick breakdown of what measures are being lifted as of Monday, February 28, 2022:
- Sports and tournaments can resume without any maximum capacities.
- Venues with 10,000 seats or less can resume to full capacity.
- Restaurants can now close at 1am, with the last call at midnight.
- Bars, taverns, and casinos can reopen at 50% capacity. Must close at 1am, with the last call at midnight.
- Teleworking is no longer mandatory, but a recommendation.
As of March 14th, Quebec is expected to end the use of vaccination passports entirely.
