How cold is Canada, really?
While we may be known for our maple syrup, scrumptious poutines, and moose… We are also known for our very cold weather.
According to a recent weather report from WX-Now, Canada made it to the top 15 coldest places on Earth… Thirteen times to be exact.
With Russia and Antarctica being the other two locations included on that list, Old Crow Yukon made second place with a low of -43C. With an average of about -36C across the board, Yukon Territory and Nunavut made up the majority of the coldest locations on that list. Brr.
Despite being known for our extreme cold temperatures, Canadians can expect temperatures to start warming up next month as the first day of Spring is just around the corner!
Anyone else as ready for this new season as we are?!
