One of the hardest things to accept as adults is that… We actually don’t know everything.

While we may think that we have most things figured out, there are plenty of life hacks that most people are unaware of that can make their lives even just slightly easier. Curious to know more about what we’re talking about?

Check out these random life hacks listed below, and make sure to let us know how many you already knew about:

  1. Tape a dryer sheet over your AC unit, to make your space smell better!
  2. Put newspaper at the bottom of your trash can, to absorb juices from food.
  3. Keep an emergency contact list in your wallet. You never know if you will need it to save your life one day.
  4. Put pancake mix in an empty ketchup bottle, for easy squeezing onto the pan!
  5. During the winter time, make sure to wear enough clothes that you could walk a mile in, in case your car breaks down.
  6. If ever you’re in a situation where you have to perform CPR, don’t stop until the ambulance arrives and takes over. You could potentially save their life, even if there are no signs of resuscitation.
  7. Using a sharp knife is actually safer. This will prevent it from slipping and cutting you by accident.
  8. If ever you need to rescue someone in a body of water, make sure to bring a floating device with you. The chances of drowning increase as they might hold on to you tightly and drag you down with them.
  9. Always turn the handle of a pan inwards on a stove, to avoid children hitting it and have boiling water fall on their face.

Wow… Some of these were intense, were they not? Well, better to play it safe than not!
