For the first time in what feels like forever, bars in Quebec will now be permitted to stay open until 3am as of this weekend.

In addition to the later last call, dancing and karaoke will be permitted to once again resume as limits are back to full capacity starting this weekend.Oh, and did we mention that vaccine passports are officially coming to an end too?

According to the Daily Hive, “On Thursday, Boileau said the government is considering lifting the mask mandates sooner than expected. This comes after Premier François Legault announced that all public places in Quebec would lift face mask requirements by “mid-April at the latest.””

While the date of lifting of mask mandates has yet to be confirmed by the Quebec government, we can expect more news in the very near future.

Looks like life might be getting back to normal… But, we’re not trying to jinx anything!

Have a great weekend, Montreal!
