Daniel Radcliffe grew his own moustache to play "Weird Al" Yankovic in an upcoming biopic.

Back in January, it was announced that the Harry Potter actor would play the singer, who is known for his humorous songs and parodies, in Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.

Speaking about the project during an appearance on The View on Monday, Radcliffe revealed that he grew his own facial hair to emulate Yankovic's signature look.

"Real moustache, fake hair," he said, referring to the performer's long, curly hair. "Anything to avoid fake facial hair. Grow it if you can."

Radcliffe went on to share that he had a ball on the set of the film.

"It was honestly an incredible fast shoot, it was like, 18 days. But it was one of the most fun things I have ever done in my life," the actor praised. "(Yankovic is) the best, he's just the best. He's the nicest human, and he was on set every day which is a real pleasure."
