Looks like Dollarama stores are going to be increasing their prices to more than just one loonie next fiscal year.

In a recent announcement made by the Canadian retail chain, consumers can expect an increase in pricing in the next fiscal year. As many other companies have been forced to change their pricing for products, Dollarama will now offer fixed pricing from $5 and under.

This is not the first time that Dollarama has made an increase in their pricing however. In 2015, they added two fixed pricing of $3.50 and $4.00. They explained that this decision will allow for more variety of products that will be added on their shelves.

According to CTV News, “Dollarama president and CEO Neil Rossy calls the operating and financial results for fiscal 2022 strong, despite the changing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on retailers and fluctuating consumer habits.”

Will this change your shopping habits when visiting Dollarama stores?
