While the majority of Montreal is known for its bike-friendly environment… Here are the different bike paths we recommend visiting the next time you take your bike out for a spin!
De Maisonneuve Boulevard
Crossing through NDG, Westmount, all the way through to Downtown Montreal… You’re guaranteed to see it all when visiting this bike path! Whether you grab a BIXI or a bike of your own, always remember to follow the street signs and to be careful of cars when on your ride.
Lachine Canal
When the city meets nature… The Lachine Canal is truly the place to be in the summertime! Starting out by the calm streets of Lachine, the bike path leads you all the way to the Old Port of Montreal. Whether you’re looking to improve your endurance or to simply sightsee, there are many stops you can make along the way… Like the Atwater Market!
Parc Jean-Drapeau
14-kilometres in length, this bike path is located on an island right off of Montreal. Enjoy the views of LaRonde, the city of Montreal, and all of the rarest views most Montrealers rarely get to see.
Plateau Bike Path
One of the city's most bustling neighbourhoods when it comes to cyclists, riding around the Plateau will leave you stumbling across Montreal’s finest locations like the Jean-Talon Market, Little Italy, and right into the Mile-End area.
Remember to bike safely and to always wear a helmet when out on the road.
