The lifelong debate has finally come to an end… The world’s best smoked meat sandwich can be found in (drum roll please) the city of Montreal!
Okay sure, this might totally come off as a biased statement, but we promise we didn’t come up with this opinion on our own!
According to CNN Travel, Montreal’s infamous smoked meat sandwich made the “23 of the world's best sandwiches” list… The Schwartz's deli sandwich to be exact!
The article describes the best way to cook up a smoked meat sandwich in true Montreal fashion is to “soak for up to two weeks in brine and savory aromatics such as coriander, peppercorn and garlic before being smoked and hand-sliced to go down in eternal sandwich glory.”
Man, we couldn’t agree more with their decision-making!
