Everyone’s favourite Montreal Dollar Cinema is officially closing its doors.
After 18 years in business, the Côte Saint-Luc cinema will be coming to an end after their lease renewal was refused due to future condominium plans.
Known for its very affordable prices, the Dollar Cinema screens films for people that wish to watch their old favourite movies in a theatre setting… A business plan that locals have admired since its opening in 2004.
For only $2.50 a ticket, Montrealers are invited to visit the cinema before the end of its lease which occurs on July 31st, according to Daily Hive.
We are sad to see this iconic staple go, but we are so grateful for all of the wonderful memories throughout the years.
