The Sud-Ouest’s biggest festival is happening this weekend at the Lachine Canal, and we couldn’t be more excited!
Starting on Friday, June 17, ‘Festival sur le Canal’ is going to be lit up with some of the best local music our Montreal favourites have to offer.
Montrealers can expect various local talents such as Hanorah, Po Lazarus, Bud Rice, Frisco Lee & The Golden Gate, and so much more… You’re guaranteed to have all of your live music needs fulfilled.
Festival attendees can arrive one hour prior to the start of the festival to enjoy a drink sold on-site or to grab a spot that’s close to the stage… Don’t forget to bring your blanket and chairs!
Festival planners also recommend attendees plan ahead as there is very limited parking available. So, make sure to organize your carpool or public transportation schedule ahead of time.
Located on the Lachine Canal at Esplanade du Centenaire in St. Henri, the festival will run from Friday, June 17-19 (rain or shine) and is free admission… All you have to do is show up and enjoy the music!
After two very long years of very little live entertainment, this is something you definitely don’t want to miss.
