It is one of Montreal's biggest events this weekend. Formula 1 is back and we are all excited to finally get to celebrate and watch the race. Although you might want to leave the car at home.

This weekend there will be many closures due to multiple events happening this weekend in Montreal such as Grand Prix and Mural Festival and may we also add construction.

Grand Prix Closures

  • de Maisonneuve Blvd. will be closed between Bishop and de la Montagne streets until Sunday. That also applies to cyclists who will be detoured to Ste-Catherine or Sherbrooke street.
  • Crescent like every other year will be closed between Ste-Catherine and Sherbrooke street until Sunday.
  • Peel Street will be closed between Sherbrooke and Rene-Levesque until Monday.
  • Metcalfe will also be closed between Ste-Catherine and René-Lévesque.  

Mural Festival Closures

The Mural Festival taking place in Plateau-Mont-Royal borough on St-Laurent Boulevard will be completely closed. The Main will be closed between Sherbrooke and Mont-Royal Avenue until Sunday, June 18th.
