After two very long years… Grand Prix weekend is officially making its way back to Montreal for the first time since 2019.
It goes without saying that Montreal is definitely the place to be in the summertime. From events like the International Jazz Festival to Osheaga weekend, there truly is no other place you’d want to go. But, truly, Montreal wouldn’t be the same without Formula 1.
For those that are looking to celebrate all things Grand Prix, here’s everything you need to know about what events are happening this weekend in Montreal:
Crescent Street
From cars on display to the best live music, Crescent Street is where you’ll want to find yourself throughout the Grand Prix weekend. From Thursday to Sunday, motosport fans are welcome to join in on the activities, free of charge… But, if you’re looking to try out the local pubs and restaurants, make sure you get there extra early!
Grand Prix Party at Ritz Carlton
One of the fanciest events in the city during the Grand Prix is no doubt at the Ritz Carlton on Friday night. With tickets starting at $1,000 CAD, guests can expect fine wines, a champagne bar and a luxurious piano lounge... You already know it's going to be one heck of a party!
Maxim Grand Prix Party
Held at the Windsor Station, T-Pain and Wyclef Jean will be hosting an exclusive star-studded affair this Saturday night. Guests can expect other well-known celebrities, circus acts, motorsport cars and other DJ’s in attendance.
At Formula 1
And, of course, the main event. The Formula 1 event will be taking place at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Notre-Dame Island. Tickets are being sold fast, so you’ll want to get your hands on them before it’s too late! For the full schedule, you can visit the official website here.
