August weather is officially upon us… Get ready to bring on the heat!
Despite last night’s weather being rather cool and cozy, Montrealers can expect nothing but hot and sweaty air for the next few days.
The Weather Network is currently warning Montrealers of a risk of strong thunderstorms on Thursday with temperatures reaching a high of 27 degrees Celsius, but will feel like 37C. Things start to cool down (only slightly) on Friday with temperatures reaching a high of 27C, but will feel more like 34 degrees.
As we move into the weekend, we can expect nothing but sunny skies… With extremely high temperatures. Saturday temperatures will reach a high of 30 degrees, but will feel like 39C. However, Sunday will be reaching an ultimate high of 43 degrees Celsius.

You’ll want to make sure you hang out by a pool or air conditioned space all weekend-long.
Always important to keep an eye out for young children, pregnant women, people with chronic illnesses, seniors, and pets during heat waves - as they are the most vulnerable.
Temperatures will start to slowly drop as we move into Monday.
