Turns out Monday was Montreal's coldest August 8th in almost 80 years
It dropped from 25 to 14ºC making it the coolest August 8th since 1943 when the temperature dipped to 8.9ºC.
Either way, soak it in because the Farmers’ Almanac is predicting winter will be cold and “very snowy”.
This years winter is going to be a unreasonably cold
The Farmers’ Almanac, which has been predicting weather patterns since 1818, has predicted this year's upcoming winter, and it's going to be unreasonably cold!
The first day of winter is December 21, 2022, but that doesn't mean the cold weather is going to only start then. According to Farmers’ Almanac this winter will be remembered as a time to shake, shiver and shovel. A winter season filled with plenty of snow, rain, and mush as well as some record-breaking cold temperatures!
Looks like half of January will be quite stormy and we may see one of the coldest arctic outbreaks in recent years. Try 40° below zero.
So let's soak up all the sun we can get this summer!
