Various plants are going to be doing their annual siren test today in Montreal.

Expected to go off from 4pm to 8pm, this sound is simply a test to ensure that the alarms are equipped to inform the population of any industrial incidents that can occur. In addition to acting as a source of awareness towards industrial risks and safety.

So, if you do happen to hear the sirens going off, not to worry… This is only precautionary!
